Digital Services Manager

As trusted advisors, we are keen to help our clients. This can be helping clients meet their financial goals with our management advisory service, helping clients have a better view of their financial position with our cloud adoption and optimisation service, or helping clients meet their compliance obligations. We also want to help our clients by giving them tools to make submitting paperwork to us quick and easy.

Take the pain away

Submitting paperwork to us, such as sales and purchase invoices for the purpose of preparing your VAT Return or Year End Accounts, often involves a journey to the office or lengthy e-mail exchange. In some cases, it may also involve ‘writing up’ the invoices in a cash book or Excel workbook. In any case, it takes time. Time that would be better spent by you on your business or doing things you enjoy.

Introducing Dext Prepare

Through our partnership with Dext Prepare, we are able to give you an exciting new way to submit your paperwork to us.

With Dext Prepare there is:

  • No more waiting until the end of the VAT quarter or year-end to submit the paperwork to us
  • No more journeys to the office to drop off the paperwork
  • No more losing receipts or invoices throughout the year
  • No more storage of paperwork
  • No more writing up the cash book
  • No more Excel

With Dext Prepare, you will submit paperwork to us by:

  • Direct e-mail – handy for invoices received by email which can be forwarded directly to Dext Prepare
  • Mobile app – great for receipts that can be snapped on the go
  • Invoice Fetch – perfect for invoices that are downloaded from online accounts
  • As an added bonus, you can submit this paperwork throughout the year!
Making Tax Digital (MTD)

Using Dext Prepare not only gives you a quick and easy way to submit your paperwork to us. It also gets businesses ready for the next stage of Making Tax Digital. The next stage of Making Tax Digital applies to self-employed businesses and landlords with annual business or property income above £10,000 and will require those businesses to keep business records digitally and send income tax updates to HM Revenue and Customs. This will apply from the accounting period starting on or after 6 April 2023.

Whilst this may seem like a while off, time has a tendency of passing very quickly! Our advice is to get ready sooner rather than later, and Dext Prepare gives the perfect solution.
