Effective from 1st April 2025, the National Living Wage (NLW) and National Minimum Wage (NMW) hourly rates will increase. 

From 1 April 2025:

  • National Living Wage (NLW) for workers aged 21 and over £12.21 (an increase of 77p)
  • 18–20-year-old rate (NMW) £10.00 (an increase of £1.40)
  • 16-17-year-old rate (NMW) and apprentices £7.55 (an increase of £1.15)

 Apprentices are entitled to the apprentice rate if they are either:

  • Aged under 19
  • Aged 19 or over and in the first year of their apprenticeship
