Accounts Manager
Harry Jones
I joined JS in 2012 when I was 21 as a trainee accountant. I previously had two years experience working in a smaller practice based in Liverpool, where I passed my AAT exams. I decided to join JS to gain experience working for a larger practice and was attracted by the great study support that was offered.
I continued to progress in my role for the next couple of years, gaining exposure to larger clients and different areas of accountancy. During this time, I attended Kaplan college in Liverpool to become ACCA qualified. I became fully qualified when I was 25.
After qualifying, I was promoted to Assistant Manager, and then later become Accounts Manager.
I now look after a large portfolio of clients ranging from small sole traders to large companies with up to £10m turnover.
I really enjoy my role as a manager at JS as I like the extra responsibility that comes with it. It has allowed me to work closely with clients and I have gotten to know some of them, and their businesses, very well. There is a great team of people at JS and I have made some close friends over the years, which is the main reason why I enjoy working here.
